Vertical Forest is a project by Italian architect Stefano Boeri which building is expected for 2017. It will consist in building residential vegetal and sustainable towers, filled by more than 100 abondant trees and at 117 meters high from the ground. This project concernes for now Milano with its Bosco Verticale and the Swiss city of Lausanne with its la Tour des Cèdres. On a surface of 40 000 square meters, the green space will take 3000 square meters in total. An idea that Stefano developed with studio Laura Gatti and Burohappold Engineering.
